After President Reagan announced the attack on Libya, a reporter asked if he thought the attack would curtail Libya’s terrorism.
“Have you ever heard the sound of a 16-inch cannon?” asked Reagan, as he smiled and walked away.
I understand that when the guns are fired, you can actually hear the ripping sound of the nylon bag that holds the gunpowder. Of course, on the receiving end, what you hear is a freight train. It is usually the last sound you hear.
